HOW STRONG ARE THESE PINK BAGS?

I have already written a previous article on Skip Bags to show everyone how convenient they are, but this post just shows how versatile and strong they can be.

This small renovation was also one of my previous posts and the concrete waste that was left needed to be removed from the site so we thought we would see just how strong these pink bags really were. As the picture shows we attached chains to the corners of the slabs of concrete and lifted them onto some old used bags that we had, basically using them as a sling.

These concrete slabs weighed around 200 kilograms each and we placed 4 onto the first bag. A total of 800 kilograms was now on top of this old cut up rubbish bag. Remember, we had cut the two sides of the bag to form a sling. I was truly amazed at what happened.

Check out this short video clip on how it actually went.

DEMONSTRATION ONLY!
We definitely do not recommend anyone using these bags in this way. It was purely a test to see what their braking point would be. We still didn't find that out.

These Pink Bags come in a variety of sizes, 1/m3, 2/m3 and 3/m3 and are specifically made for the removal of
1. Green waste
2. Household waste. (Ideal for that annual clean up or for when you are moving).
3. Building waste.
4. Asbestos waste. (Specially made for dangerous asbestos waste).

You just purchase your choice of bag from selected outlets, Bunnings, Andergrove Hardware, Mackay Building Supplies and Mitre10 stores. Because you own the bag, you can take as long as you like to fill it. When it is ready for removal, you just book a collection time on the website using your credit card and Aussie Skip Bags will take care of the rest.
